Innovation at NHS Highland

We provide support for all innovation activities across the whole of NHS Highland. We work with a huge range of stakeholder in the innovation space including.

• NHS staff investing in new products
• small businesses seeking to test bed their ideas and products
• corporate businesses to seek to effect large scale change in health service provision.

We sit on innovation committees and groups at local, regional and national levels, seeking to promote the work of NHS Highland and to obtain funding to achieve effective change through innovation.

We form part of the North of Scotland Innovation Hub which aims to identify and co-develop promising innovative technology. We test whether innovation can help solve major healthcare delivery challenges through a Triple Helix approach combining NHS, industry and academic expertise.
